Gass Turek attorneys Tamar Kelber and Stephen Trigg recently gave a CLE presentation through the Milwaukee Bar Association entitled Civil Unrest and Civil Litigation: Risks, Claims and Strategies. The CLE addresses what happens when civil unrest leads to injuries and damages, and who bears responsibility. Tamar and Stephen explored theories of liability, defense strategies, insurance coverage issues, and the legal rights and obligations of protestors, business owners, and bystanders, and the unique issues presented in litigation when civil unrest occurs.
