Kevin Geary represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Geary has substantial experience in products liability, general liability, commercial disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and professional liability. This experience includes handling cases at all stages of litigation, from pre-suit negotiation and client consultation, to arguing dispositive motions, and, when necessary, proceeding to trial. Mr. Geary also has experience litigating appeals, most recently as part of a team that secured a favorable published decision from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in an aviation matter involving catastrophic injuries.
After law school, Mr. Geary was a law clerk for both the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. Mr. Geary’s experience clerking at both the trial and appellate court levels gives him a unique strategical perspective of the court system.
Mr. Geary graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, Mr. Geary’s note on videotaping on duty law enforcement officials was selected for publication by the Wisconsin International Law Journal, for which he was Senior Note and Comment Editor. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.
Mr. Geary is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Illinois, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the United States Supreme Court.
