Over the past decade since he graduated law school, Aaron Wegrzyn (pronounced “Way Grin”) has demonstrated a track record of securing favorable outcomes for clients involved in high-stakes cases. Aaron has represented Fortune 500 companies in nationwide federal lawsuits with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, while also successfully defending cases in Wisconsin state courts and prosecuting claims in arbitration proceedings.
Aaron’s analytical ability, strategic insight, and experience working for a federal judge allow him to make complex matters simpler and to present his client’s case most effectively to judges and juries. He has experience spanning a variety of industries, including financial services, health care, and manufacturing. Aaron possesses extensive experience with class action litigation, with a particular focus on claims involving consumer protection, fraud, breach of warranty, and product liability. Across these domains, Aaron has helped clients get lawsuits dismissed at the pleading stage, defeat class certification, exclude testimony from opponents’ expert witnesses, win summary judgment, and defend those victories on appeal. As a certified information privacy professional through the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Aaron also offers clients knowledge and experience on cybersecurity and data privacy matters.
Before joining Gass Turek LLC, Aaron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael B. Brennan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, advocated for clients for more than 8 years as an attorney with an AmLaw 50 firm, and interned with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office during law school. Aaron regularly publishes and presents on legal topics involving civil procedure, class action litigation, and expert witness strategies.
Aaron earned his law degree with honors from The University of Chicago Law School, where he served as the Book Review and Essays editor for The University of Chicago Law Review. He also graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University, with a triple major in Economics, English, and History.
